Eduardo “Eddie” Gomez is a Reno native, a proud University of Nevada, Reno graduate, and a small business owner. He has lived in the North Valleys for more than 20 years and understands both the strengths of the community and the challenges families face as the area continues to grow.

 

Eddie is running for Reno City Council to represent Ward 4 because he believes the community deserves strong, accountable leadership that puts residents first. As someone who has built a life and operated businesses in the area, he knows how important it is for local government to focus on practical solutions that improve everyday life.He has seen firsthand how growth in the North Valleys has too often outpaced the infrastructure and services families rely on.

 

Eddie believes the community deserves smart development that includes better roads, stronger public safety resources, parks, schools, community spaces, and thoughtful planning that ensures growth happens responsibly and with residents’ needs in mind. He also believes Ward 4 needs greater attention on affordable housing, support for small businesses, and well-maintained neighborhoods that families are proud to call home.

 

Eddie is running to be a clear, consistent voice for Ward 4 residents, not just at meetings, but in results. He is committed to listening to the community, advocating for thoughtful planning, and working to build a cleaner, safer, and stronger future for every family in the North Valleys.
