Priorities

Ward 4 Deserves Better

Ward 4 deserves leadership that puts our neighborhoods first. As the North Valleys continues to grow, that growth must be smart, responsible, and planned with residents in mind. Our families deserve development that brings real benefits, better roads, stronger public safety, quality schools, parks, and support for small businesses,  not just more traffic and unchecked industrial expansion.
Our roads need repair and improvement. Our neighborhoods need stronger police presence and code enforcement to address trash, neglected properties, and quality-of-life concerns. Ward 4 also deserves its fair share of city investment. Growth is coming, but it must be transparent, accountable, and built around the needs of the people who already live here. I’m running to make sure Ward 4 has a strong voice at City Hall that delivers results, protects property values, and keeps our community cleaner, safer, and stronger.

Parks, Trails, and Places to Gather

Ward 4 families deserve more parks, trails, and community spaces. For too long, our area has gone without the amenities that bring people together and strengthen neighborhoods. I will fight to expand recreational opportunities, protect community spaces, and ensure new development includes meaningful public amenities. Strong neighborhoods are not built by housing alone,  they are built by the places where families gather, connect, and take pride in their community.

Safer Streets, Stronger Infrastructure

As Ward 4 grows, our infrastructure and public safety resources must grow with it. Traffic congestion, aging roads, and limited pedestrian access are everyday concerns for local families. We must make sure police, fire, and emergency services keep pace with development so response times stay strong and neighborhoods stay protected. Infrastructure is the foundation of public safety, and I will work to secure the investments needed to keep Ward 4 safe, connected, and prepared for the future.

Backing Small Businesses

Small businesses are essential to Ward 4’s success. Local government should create the conditions for entrepreneurs to grow and succeed, not bury them in red tape or unnecessary restrictions. That means streamlining permits, improving communication between business owners and city departments, investing in safe and accessible commercial corridors, and making sure public safety supports local commerce. I will advocate for practical policies that reduce barriers, support local hiring, and keep tax dollars working here in Reno. When small businesses succeed, Ward 4 succeeds.
